About Us

The Oklawaha Valley Audubon Society is a Non-Profit Organization focused on the area of Lake County and is the local chapter of Florida’s Audubon Society. Audubon Societies around the country are dedicated to the conversation of America’s wildlife and the habitats that support them.

Oklawaha Valley Audubon Society or OVAS for short does this through education, field trips and other outreach activities that help the local community be more informed as to the environmental issues that citizens may not be aware.

OVAS has a monthly meeting on the first Sunday of every month at the Trout Lake Nature Center, 520 East County Road 44, Eustis, FL 32736.
